How It Works

Ordering a new quartz or granite kitchen worktop with iGranite is remarkably easy and hassle free: so don’t let your kitchen company tell you any different! In just a matter of weeks you can be enjoying your luxury worktop at a fraction of the price it would cost you to order through your kitchen company.
Step 1 - Pick a material and get a quote

Select a material from the huge range of Marble, Granite or Quartz on our website - or visit one of our showrooms in Bedford or Islington, London. You can order samples to be posted directly to you or contact us to arrange to view any slab before you order. Our friendly customer service team will be able to give you a competitive quote for your kitchen from measurements given over the phone or from a plan or drawing. Our price promise means that 99% of time we will significantly beat any quote from your kitchen company.

Step 2 – Placing the order

Placing your countertop order is effortless - simply give us a call 2 weeks before you need us to come and measure up. Alternatively you can pop into one of our showrooms in Bedford or in Islington, London. We take an 80% deposit to reserve the material and allocate a template visit. The final 20% balance is taken once the worktop is installed and you are 100% satisfied with it. Don’t stress if you change your mind about the material, edge, or the date that you need it, just pick up the phone and let us know. We are committed to getting things just right for you; we understand things change.

Step 3 – Measuring Up

Our worktop fitting team will arrive promptly at your house to measure up after the kitchen has been installed. Don’t worry if the measurements are a little wrong on the quote, as our expert teams will conduct a full site survey to ensure complete accuracy. The measuring will typically take between two – four hours; depending on the size of the kitchen. We also highly recommend that you be present whilst our team is on site, in the event they have any questions. We need all the units to be in place with the sinks, taps and hobs to be on site, but disconnected. We provide you with a full list of our requirements when you order to give to your kitchen fitter, so don’t worry about trying to memorise everything.

Step 4 – Manufacturing

At I Granite we are 100% committed to affordable quality, which is why we take the manufacturing of your worktop so seriously. Our expert stonemasons have hundreds of years’ collective experience of handling granite, quartz, and marble countertops, and use their skills and the latest precision equipment and their skill to get everything just right. As I Granite is part of the Chiltern Marble Group, we have had the experience of working on BBC 1’s DIY SOS Channel 4’s Restoration Man and have worked on at the Westfield Shopping Centre and even at the ME Hotel. We have invested over £1 million in the latest manufacturing equipment, so don’t settle for less!

Step 5 – Installation

Seven to ten working days after our granite fitting team have come to measure up, we return to your home to complete the kitchen worktop installation. The fitting process typically takes between three to five hours in total spread over a morning or afternoon. Once this is done you can then call your kitchen company back to connect the hob and sink. It is then time to bring in your decorator to cork the upstands and begin painting.

Step 6 – Enjoy

Our kitchen worktops are built to last, so go ahead and enjoy them, knowing that our granite comes complete with a Dry-Treat ® 15 year stain warranty and all of our quartz products come with a minimum of a ten year manufactures warranty. Our installation work also comes complete with a hassle-free one year warranty for your total piece of mind.
